So I noticed that CoQ tries to simulate an old CRT via scanlines, vignette, etc. effects, yet the tiles scaling is jagged.

I was wondering if it would be possible to get a bilinear stretch option for the tile graphics. CRTs did not have sharp pixels like modern LCDs; there was an inherent glow to the pixels due to the fact that they worked by shooting high-voltage electron guns at phosphor-coated glass to make a vague patch of it glow. I've found that bilinear stretching provides a simple approximation of the softness of CRTs when scaling to arbitrary display resolutions.
